Second time ride to this city, made a quick morning ride to Springfield, Ohio on this fine day. Amazing....no rain two days in a row! Got in a lot more miles then the 20 of yesterday, and enjoyed it a great deal.
Made a stop at McDonalds for a breakfast and then rode back to check out the (think it was called) Lower Valley Mall in Springfield. Once had a JC Penney and a Sears, but now is mostly abandoned with just a few places open. Sad, but things change.
Lots of cool buildings in Springfield (have seen that touring with Debbie in the car) and will be back to see Springfield some more again soon.
Headed back down the road, and made a quick stop in North Hampton. Checked out the covered bridge and the train Caboose there. Not sure if either are real but a nice place for a quick stop and I have some photos of the area to the left and also below.
The last photo below was taken in New Carlisle, Ohio. As I said, a nice ride today, close to 50 miles and in a short period of time, though longer than the 4th of July ride. It was hot and humid today. Ohio is certainly getting some wild weather last Spring and now this Summer. Still, its a fun and very interesting place to ride the motorcycle!
