Last Ride of October 2022 (October 29, 2022)

A beautiful day in October and decided to get out due to the temperatures warming from the past few days. At left a photo stop in New Carlisle, also stopped at 571 for a refreshing beverage. Got what is probably one of the last look at fall colors which are rapidly fading. Next colors in the neighborhoods will be Christmas lights in a few weeks, but still some to see. Stopped by the New Carlisle Airport to see some planes flying and parked, and then rode out to Donnelsville, Ohio where I stopped to see the Halloween display there. Was a great ride, and a wonderful day for it!

Once more with Feeling (October 24, 2022)

Another beautiful and warm day, so on this Monday, once more got the Triumph out for a ride around the area.

Rode into Fairborn a few days before Halloween to see the Monsters there, and rolled from there into Enon.

Ran around some country roads past a few farms where harvest is in full swing, and finally out to Great Blue Heron Park. Did not see any of those majestic birds, but did see this very cool sign. Saw some earlier this year, but not lately. Anyhow, thanks for visiting my page.

Sunday Ride (October 23, 2022)

A number of rides of late, but as you can see at left and below, amazing weather for late October. Was in the low-70's as I headed out this Sunday afternoon. Getting a last look at the fading Fall colors, and even got a look at some cows and other critters down in the 3rd photo.

Made a last stop at the New Carlisle Airport, where I got to see this plane getting fueled. Was a great ride once again, this being the third time in three days I have been out. Have to get ready because in just a few short weeks, the temperature will rapidly fall. However, enjoying this Indian Summer while it lasts!

Saturday Ride 2 (October 22, 2022)

Something different of late for yesterday, took a second late afternoon ride. Rode out to Vandalia where I got the photo at left of the dam there.

Made a stop at Hairless Hare Brewing, where I stopped for a Buckeye Nation Peanut Butter Porter. It is as dark as the soul of Donald Trump, but has a much better taste and goes down smoother than that howling idiot.

I had not seen the guitar on display there, but thought it was pretty damn cool. As for the last photo, that is of the Dayton Airport, which is right across the street. Another great ride.

Camera Case Ride (October 22, 2022)

Another beautiful day. Got a new cell phone yesterday, went out today to get a new case for it. No better way to go, and Best Buy had it. Rode also by the World's Best Pizza (well, that is an opinion of mine) and to see the Wright Model B replica. Stopped in Melt for a refreshing beverage. Can see they have all the holiday's covered there. Beer was from Chicago, and quite tasty. Melt is the last two photos below. As for the ride, it was awesome, but then again how could it be anything but? Thanks for visiting my pages!

Indian Summer Ride (October 21, 2022)

Rode for a number of reasons. We have been enduring a pretty long cold spell (it is late October after all) with even some what has been rare rain. However today and for the next few days, 70 degrees have come back with no rain in sight. Second, I got a new cell phone as the old one was crapping out, and wanted to test it (and the test can be seen in these photos). Finally it was 70 degrees and still beautiful color to see out there. So though a breezy day, got out and took these photos in George Rogers Clark Park. Pleased with the ride and these pictures.

Probably will be out at least a few times in the next few days!

Bunny Beer Ride (October 15, 2022)

Another beautiful ride on this fantastic Saturday. Riding later in the afternoon due to the much cooler temperatures to be found this time of year. However, the colors are remarkable, and while it was 57 degrees, I was dressed for it. Had a great ride and made a stop at Hairless Hair Brewing in Vandalia, Ohio for a refreshing beverage. I also earlier made a stop at the park to see the donkey. The donkey is the symbol of the Democratic Party here, and I will be voting Democrat in a few days. In the words of much wiser men....Fuck Donald Trump!

All in all a fantastic ride and a great time.

Farm Ride (October 10, 2022)

Another beautiful 70-degree day in Ohio, and I could not resist getting out for another ride. Can tell by the color in the trees (and especially yesterday's much cooler ride) that the riding season here is getting ever shorter. Got out again under clear blue skies to check out the sights on this Monday afternoon. Still some corn to harvest, but many of the fields have already been cleared, or are in the process. Rode up some hilly roads (which is fun to do) and even rode out to George Rogers Clark Park. Did some 40 miles and every one of them was fantastic. Can't wait to strap on the helmet, and do it again!

Sunday Dayton Ride (October 9, 2022)

Beautiful day for a ride. Getting late in the riding season here, was just above 50 degrees so had to bundle up a bit. However, the color was beautiful and enjoyed being out in the breeze under clear blue skies and in fairly light traffic for a Sunday.

Rode out into Dayton. Stopped a few times for photos and once at Warped Wing Brewing for a refreshing beverage. Covered a lot more miles than usual but had a great time doing it.

Looking forward to the next ride, and hope all of you are doing well. Thanks for visiting my page!

A Thursday Ride in Ohio (October 6, 2022)

Got out for a second day in a row, once again due to 70 degree tempeatures. As the previous day, a beautiful day to get out in the afternoon. Rode in the same general area, but once again picked some different roads around there, and saw a few different sights.

Fall color is breaking out, still a ways to go, but seeing more and more of it each time out. It was very nice and enjoyed it a great deal. Course, its a motorcycle ride what is not to like?

Thank you for visiting my page!

First Ride of October (October 5, 2022)

Got out for a rare afternoon ride for the first ride of October, it was in the 70's which is normal for this time of year, but soon those temperatures will be dropping as the month goes on. Mornings here have been of late in the 40's.

Stopped to check out some cows, once again went down some really cool and curvy country roads. It was a beautiful day to get out but did find once again that the afternoon rides include meeting with the local bugs in the area. Still, it was fantastic.

Made a quick stop at 571 for a quick refreshment stop before heading home.

Last Ride of 2023 (October 27, 2023)

End of the ride here at home, sights below are during the ride. cCme across the Harley and the sidecar at the gas station. Talked with owner...
