More Coffee (September 16, 2024)

Seeing some hints of Fall color, though not sure if it the season or due to the drought. Stopped to take this during the ride on this beautiful Monday. 

Rode into Fairborn, to a new coffee shop from yesterday, also a favorite (Lefty's) and also very good. A great ride is a beautiful thing, so is great coffee. Took it outside with my Triumph nearby. 

Had another fine ride and having a great time enjoying this weather, though would not mind some rain soon.  

 

Sunday Coffee Run (September 15, 2024)

Rode to New Carlisle to a favorite coffee shop (Penny Lane) for some of their fantastic coffee. Was another beautiful day to get out into the breeze. 

As you can see of the corn directly below, very dry here. Great for riding, but tough on food. We have been over two weeks without rain. 

Got in a few miles on this Sunday, rode out to The New Carlisle Airport before heading back home. Was a wonderful time out! 

 

Dawn Patrol Ride (September 14, 2024)

Up early and rode out to the Springfield Airport at Springfield, Ohio for the Dawn Patrol event. Last year it was held at the Air Force Museum. Nice ride there though on another beautiful morning. 

At left you can see the Radio controlled airplanes, of which these are just a small sample. I consider these some of the best I saw. 

Below these are replica WW1 aircraft, piloted and many were flown . It was a pretty nice event, though was there for just a short while. 

Rode around Springfield for awhile, did not see anyone eating dogs, cats or geese. The clown tRUMP is a howling jackass. Vote Blue!  

 

Monday in the Breeze (September 9, 2024)

 

Good Monday ride, enjoyed being out in the breeze on another beautiful day to ride. Actually, we could sure use some rain but it is great for motorcycling. 

Rode out to some local places, in the top a local park not far from me, and the other was taken at George Rogers Clark Park which is....also not far from me. 

Was a great time though, and looking forward to the next adventure on two wheels.  

Saturday Ride (September 7, 2024)

Beautiful day for a ride. Was 50 degrees when I headed out under clearing skies. Had a chance of rain yesterday but did not get much at all. We really need it, as area is currently under a drought. 

Did ride into Fairborn, basically because it was there. Stopped at a local car dealer and checked out some old cars which can be seen below. 

Stopped by the Democratic Headquarters in Fairborn. Like talking to them, they are not bat shit crazy like the Trumpians  are . Donald Trump is garbage wrapped in skin. 

At any case, saw some nice sights and traveled some cool roads before heading back home. Had a wonderful ride, and looking forward to the next one. 

    

 

Once More with Feeling (September 5, 2024)

Got out once again and rode out near Springfield as I have the last few days. Great roads and interesting sights. I went by the deer farm a few miles from the house. Interesting thing, had never heard of these but legal in Ohio. I went through Lawrenceville, Ohio and revisited the Nash automobile. 

Past few days have gone well over 100 miles and have enjoyed some wonderful weather. Blue skies, cooler temperatures and very low humidity. 

 

Out in the Country (September 4, 2024)

Really enjoying this wonderful weather. Was in the 50's this morning when I got the Triumph out for a nice ride. Waited a bit till the school busses had run and the traffic had died down.

Was a great ride out, did stop to get this one photo, but was having too much fun to take a lot. 

At any case, have enjoyed riding now three days in a row and more on the way.

Country Ride (September 2, 2024)

Got a really good ride in on this day, another beautiful day with lots of sun, lower temperatures and humidity. 

Rode some back roads past Springfield, Ohio. Saw this very old Nash in one of the towns I came across, and a view of a military memorial site in another. Have been to this area before, but frankly its been awhile. I think this area rates some more rides, both for the sights to be found there, and the very nice roads I had the privilege to ride!   

 

Tipp City Ride (September 1, 2024)

Finally, cooler weather, plus back home after a few trips to West Virginia, Louisville and Rising Sun. Got out on the Triumph on a beautiful day. Cooler weather, blue skies and just a magnificent day to ride. 

Rode out to Tipp City. Nice ride over some really good roads, two lanes and light traffic. Rode out past farms, one of which you can see in the bottom photo. 

It was a great time, and looking forward to the next one very soon!
