Rode by Lowe's today, just on a hunch, and saw some Christmas sights! Absolutely my favorite holiday and saw some very cool items. Will be back later on in the near future!
As to the ride, afterwards rode on. Temperature was 62 degrees this morning, did 25 wonderful miles!
Wild weather here, much warmer then typical for this time of year. Taking advantage though, and got a good ride in on this beautiful day. Rode out to George Rogers Clark Park, and checked out some of the history there. Did around 25 miles at 62 degrees. Will be warming into the upper 80s later today and has it's been for quite a few days bone dry.
Beautiful day to get out, and did so. Got out past cornfield - the harvest is underway. Coming up this weekend is the Festival of Flight in New Carlisle. That is a fun event, and will have photos on my "Ohio and Me" page this weekend.

Got back a couple of days ago from the Virginia Beach trip and the NAS Oceana Airshow there (great time and photos at my "Ohio and Me" Page). In honor of that, made an airplane ride of sorts. Visited Huffman Prairie Flying Field where the Wright Brothers perfected their airplane design after Kitty Hawk, the Wright Memorial just up the road, and a stop at the Air Force Museum for a look at some of the planes outside. Nice ride of some 30 miles in all at some 60 degrees this beautiful morning. Yeah, added a few roads today as well. Three sights I visited are within 5 miles of each other.
Short ride in the late morning, rode out to George Rogers Clark Park. Nice morning cruise at around 73 degrees. Got in around 20 miles.
Battlefield is old and right next to the park. Overgrown but very historic. Some can be read about in the photos below.
Rode this beautiful day out to Tipp City. Went there because it's a nice ride. Took some different roads on the way back, cool sights. In my neighborhood came across a very cool Halloween display. Covered some 30 miles at a temperature of just about 60 degrees. Still hoping for some rain here soon!
Beautiful ride around Fairborn. Time and Temperature in photo below. Saw the Doomsday plane, an old classic car and Monsters downtown. Light traffic on this early morning ride. Got out before heat and humidity as summer is making a comeback today. Great time though today -25 miles of joy!
