Farm Ride (April 27, 2026)

 Beautiful day though expecting rain tonight and for the next few days. Got a 40 mile ride in this morning,  out in the country. 60 degrees but was dressed for the ride. 

Buc-ee's Ride (April 24, 2026)

 Opened a couple of weeks ago, made a stop this morning at Buc-ee's.  Its just over a mile from our house. From there rode to Vandalia, and then down some new (for me) backroads to Tipp City where I made a quick stop. Got fuel for $3.89 (due to tRUMP) and got home. 38 miles at 71 degrees 

Smells Like Country Ride(April 23, 2026)

 

Another beautiful Thursday,  got out for a short 20 mile ride. Got out in Farm Country, and certainly had that earthy aroma. Probably a lit due to fertilizer of different types. Was 80 degrees and a few miles before getting home stopped at the New Carlisle Airport.  It was a beautiful day to ride.  

 

Springfield Ride (April 22, 2026)

 After a cold snap and rainy days, out on the Triumph this morning.  Did some 31 miles with a temperature of 72 degrees under blue skies.  Rode into Springfield, Ohio which is a very interesting and nice city. Rolled through downtown, Ferncliff Cemetery and next door Snyder Park. It was a beautiful ride. 

Friday Cruising (April 17, 2026)

 Perfect day, with blue skies in 76 degrees.  Got out for a 30 mile ride and made a couple of stops. Rode into Huber Heights, Riverside and Fairborn.  Stopped at Eastwood Lake and the Air Force Museum.  

Bunny Ride! ( April 16. 2026)

 Another overcast day with a good rain chance, also again warm in the mid 70s. Did some 20 miles. Stopped by the New Carlisle Cemetery,  where I came across a running Bunny. Saw a very cool motorcycle while out, and rode past the local Harley repair shop before getting home. 

Tax Day Cruise (April 15, 2026)

 Took a quick ride - rode out to New Carlisle on an errand and around some local backroads.  Weather was iffy, but rain held off. Was very warm at 70 degrees when I headed out. Stopped before getting home to visit with ducks by the shore. 

Area Ride (April 12, 2026)

 Yesterday was the test ride, today did a 50 mile cruise. Passed though Enon, Young's Dairy,  Yellow Springs. the outskirts of Xenia and Fairborn before rolling home. A really good Phio ride on a beautiful Sunday morning.  Temperature was 65 degrees.  

Shakedown Cruise April 11, 2026)

 Got out on a chilly Saturday after a through checkout on the Triumph.  Put in battery,  tire pressures, chain and oil level. Got out for a short 30 minute ride around the area. The 2026 riding season is underway!
