Touch of Fall (October 5, 2026)

 Another beautiful day,  cooler today lower 60s. Did 32 miles down highway 41, some backroads and US40. Went thru New Carlisle,  North Hampton and Medway on the ride. 

Sunday Lunch Ride (October 4, 2026)

 Put on the Triumph this Sunny Sunday afternoon,  lunch time specifically.  Did a 28 mile ride,  at a refreshing temperature of 64 degrees.  Rode by an old historic grade school on US40, on my way to Rally's for lunch. Good ride!

Ohio has dropped state tax, finally following the lead of other local states. So gas prices made a small drop this weekend and hopefully for the next 90 days. 

Fall Color! (September 29, 2026)

 Cool ride in all ways, went 36 miles at a temperature of 54 degrees.  Fall color is starting to break out, and loving that. Rode out in country where harvest in under way. Visited cows and rolled past cornfields. It was a wonderful ride.

Sunday Ride ( September 27, 2026)

 After a day of yard work and Halloween decorations,  got out late this morning.  Waited for temperature to break 60. Traffic was heavier than a usual Sunday, but a nice ride. Gas a little cheaper, but still way to high. Seeing the 55 chevy was a treat. All in all a very good ride!

Critter Ride (September 25, 2026)

 After some rainy and overcast days, sun came out at last. Much cooler in the 40s in the morning,  but warmed to upper 60s around 1pm. Got in a 30 mile ride. Call this the critter ride because got to watch a goose parade and visit with Donkey who was in Carriage Hill Farm Park. 

It was a damn fine ride...

Fall 2026, Day 1 (September 22, 2026)

 First day of Fall, got out under ominous skies, but didn't get rained on during my 23 mile ride this morning.  Its been a wild wet period. Summer has been a wet and hot mess. Speaking of hot messes, check out these gas prices thanks to tRUMP. 

Tipp City! (September 14, 2026)

 Beautiful day to ride, 64 degrees and clear blue skies. Rode into New Carlisle to the airport and then to Tipp City. Did a 40 mile ride today and it was absolutely fantastic!

9-11 Ride ( September 11, 2026)

 After a rainy Thursday,  got out the Triumph on an errand run to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.  Was 64 degrees and covered 24 miles today.  Saw they are tearing down the base movie theater.  

Went to Fairborn.  Gas prices still high in town, but the monsters are coming out. Was a cool ride. 

Into the Country (September 9, 2026)

 A good afternoon ride after a busy morning.  Got out and visited with geese and then rolled down some backroads doing roughly 35 miles. It was a very good ride. 

tRUMP has bern ramping up his war, and prices are responding to his "success" Higher and higher is tRUMP's favorite song apparently 

Critter Ride (September 7, 2026)

 Did 36 miles today, 64 degrees this beautiful Labor Day morning.  Went down a bunch of country roads, and today visited with critters of various types. Was a beautiful ride!

Into Dayton (September 6, 2026)

 Sunday morning is a perfect time to explore Dayton. Very light traffic though many cops out, but that's not a bad thing. Was a very pleasant 68 degrees this morning with low humidity.  Got in a 37 mile ride. Even gas prices were a few cents lower, probably due to lower demand. All in all a great ride 

Aviation Ride (September 4, 2026)

 89 degrees with the heat index approaching 100+. Got out on the first ride of September and did 39 miles. Dayton being the home of aviation  stopped to look at some aviation sites. Nice ride today. 

Soybean Ride (August 29, 2026)

 Went on the last ride of August,  stop

ped by a soybean field and got high priced gas thanks to tRUMP while out. Good 35 mile ride though through the country at around 68 degrees.  Like Saturday morning rides as get cooler temperatures and very light traffic. 

Park Rides (August 28, 2026)

 Beautiful Friday afternoon,  got the Triumph out for a just under 30 mile ride at a bit over 70 degrees.  Rode to George Rogers Clark Park,  Snyder Park in Springfield,  and Ferncliff Cemetery which is next to Snyder Park.  It was a very good ride.
