Last August Ride (August 31, 1025)

 Got out and rode to Huffman Prairie Flying Field,  which is where the Wright Brothers perfected their aircraft design which was known as the Wright Flyer III. Day was beautiful and got in some 25 miles. 

Saturday at 50 Degrees (August 30, 2025)

 25 miles this morning,  on a beautiful cool day. Not alone, a few motorcycles were out riding on this Labor Day weekend.  Went by The Rose Music Center for a photo. Went to two great concerts there this year, looking forward to who comes next year. Stopped to say hello to a horse at Carriage Hill Farm on the way home. Down some fun backroads in between.  Thanks for visiting my pages!

Pre-rain Ride (August 28, 2025)

 Expecting rain this morning and the clouds are rolling in. That's good though,  haven't had any for quite a few days. Stayed dry though on a wonderful cool 57 degree morning.  Did some 25 miles. Got out to see the animals at Carriage Hill Farm which were out and about. 

Stopped for fuel while out, grateful the Triumph takes regular.  Fuel prices,  beef prices and especially coffee prices are way up. 

Sunday Cruise (August 24, 2025)

 Got out again this time on a beautiful Sunday afternoon,  for a 25 mile ride at a temperature of lower 70's. Got out on some cool country roads. Cruised through George Rogers Clark Park where I took the photo below. Wonderful day!

Watching Birds Fly (August 23, 2025)

 Got out again, needed to run to New Carlisle and no better way to do it then via Triumph.  Was a bit warmer, and a little more humid. Did a very short 15 miles but did stop at the local airport to watch a Piper Cub take off. Nice ride!

Visiting Cows (August 22, 2025)

 Back from the Louisville trip, finally got some sunshine. A beautiful day to ride with a temperature of 62 degrees. Nice change from the 100's of the past few weeks.

Took a 40 mile ride through farm country, visited cows in a couple of fields. Nice ride on a wonderful Friday. 

Saturday Breakfast Ride ( Sugust 16, 2025)

 Out early before the heat and humidity build. 72 degrees and did 15 miles in the area. Stopped at McDonald's for a favorite meal. Light traffic,  blue skies.. a beautiful ride!

Toasty Cruise (August 15, 2025)

 Got out for second Day in a row. Warmer and more humid but still a good ride. Ran some errands but got to see some cool aircraft along the way. 

Song of the Road (August 14, 2025)

 Been another period of storms and oppressive heat/humidity.  Short pause for a couple of days, got out in the country on the Triumph.  Did 25 miles on today's ride, and as always enjoyed it. 

Flying with Birds (August 9, 2025)

 Nice ride, some 40 miles at 70 degrees.  Good day to get out in the country. Saw a "Trump is a Scab" sign, like that. Birds were flying around with me as I went by a number of times. Bike not loud, but was very cool. I also saw Birds of other types flying.  Enjoyed today a great deal, but nothing unusual  there!

Park Ride (August 8, 2025)

 Got out under blue skies, and rode out to run some errands.  Upper 60's this morning,  and did 30 miles. Stopped by a couple of parks on the way home. Nice day to get my knees in the breeze. Trump sucks!

Morning Putt (August 5, 2025)

 Got out again, a bit warmer this morning than yesterday  but still wonderfully cool . Went further covering some 25 miles at 67 degrees temperature.  Rain expected later today, but last few days have been dry. Thanks for visiting my pages!

Monday Run (August 4, 2025)

 Got out for a short ride, had an errand to run, and no better way to do it. Rode and also visited with cows on this beautiful morning . Did approximately 15 miles, temperature 64 degrees .

Spring Feeling (August 1, 2025)

 Finally a cooler day with low humidity! After weeks of 100+ heat, woke up to 62 degrees! Got in a nice 30 mile ride and loved every bit of it.
