Beautiful day to get out. Rain has been the big issue the last few days, certainly has flowers growing in my yard, and corn on the farms. Got out early morning with the temperature in the 80's This week rises to mid 90s with an over 100 heat index. This though was a cooler ride.
Once more out getting my knees in the breeze on a late morning ride. Short, as have plans in the afternoon but a nice ride after rush hour. Got out in the country and enjoyed it under clear skies and 77 degrees. Took the photo at a local lake before getting home
Another beautiful day, and with the forecast coming up, took advantage. Rode to Fairborn and by the New Carlisle Airport while out running errands. No better way to do it in my opinion. Roughly 30 miles with temperature in the upper 70s.
Finally got out on the first dry day on a few. As can be seen by water photo below, has been "some" rain here. Saw three deer while out, got a photo of one as it wandered off - doe and fawn bounced off. Nice ride, also wandered into Huber Heights and parts of Dayton. Rode approximately 36 miles at a temperature of 58 degrees this morning.
Got out on a beautiful Tuesday morning. Much warmer than it has been all year. Summer is certainly on its way.
Ran a few errands and saw a few sights while out. Looking forward to the next ride.
Chilly Sunday morning for a ride, but took advantage of a beautiful day. 50 degrees is not bad if you are dressed for it. Saw the very cool car below, and some beautiful horses while out. Got out and rode into Huber Heights and out on some country roads in the area. 40 miles of joy!
Rode out also at the beginning of the ride in Enon where I saw the double decker bus. Traffic today was very light and enjoyed that. Took off down some country roads during the ride and had a wonderful 35 mile cruise on a fantastic Memorial Day. Remember the Fallen on this day!
Rode out to New Carlisle Airport, also ran an errand while out in that town. From there rode down some country roads. Not open, but stopped at Indian Creek Distillery to get this photo. Looks like they are expanding there, which is pretty cool.
Made a ride through Carriage Hill Farm, which is a favorite park in the area. Always enjoy visiting there.
It was a good ride, did some 40 miles. Temperatures are cooler than usual for this time of year, but had my cold weather gear on and enjoyed the ride as always!
Ride was nice though, temperature in the 70's and the winds had also died down from the 40 mph gusts of the day before. Rode out to the New Carlisle Airport to see some of the planes flying there.
Haven't been to Tipp City, Ohio for awhile, but made a quick stop there. For one its a beautiful ride there, for another a lot of historic sights there.
As for the ride did some 40 miles and enjoyed every one of them. With this wet weather, rides of late are few and far between, but I enjoy them when I can.
Enjoyed feeding the goats and seeing the cows. Neat farm with a lot of cool things to see, including a neat and new merrie go round, and ball batting cages. They also have a very cool restaurant in there and homemade ice cream which is very good. The Dairy is located in Yellow Springs which is a favorite area to ride in.
Stopped at Fairborn while out by some new art work there and rode around for awhile. After all, has been a few days, but a very good ride on a cooler than normal day. Not bad though was dressed for it. On the way home, saw this very cool old car by an auto repair shop and got the photo below.
It was a wonderful day to get out, covered some 30 miles and enjoyed every one of them.
Later went by George Rogers Clark Park, the house in the photo at bottom dates to the mid-1800's. Did not ride through the park, but have often and certainly will again.

Did a bit over 20 miles this morning, and temperature was just under 50 degrees. Beautiful day here but expecting some rain later tonight and tomorrow, so thought getting this ride in was a good idea. It was, enjoyed being out early on a Thursday.

However finally getting some great weather and got the motorcycle out for its first ride of the year. Did a good preflight on it, checked tire pressures, chain (which I also oiled) and put in the battery.
Took it out for a test ride, thankfully did not go far as I had a loose positive cable and lost all power. Walked a few blocks to the house for tools, then back to the bike. Got back at the battery and tightened it up.
Photo at left is from the second test ride, which was fine. Will do another one of those in the next day or so. Good to get my knees in the breeze again!
